The Centre for Biodiverse Carbon Farming has been developed to accredit and honor the research and work of Prof. Martin Wolfe which provides the foundation upon which this project is based. The logo is based on a photograph of Martin studying a plant. The figure has been abstracted to symbolize the human relationship with plants and the natural world. The plant is held in a gesture between reverence, offering and study, the ear of wheat is at the same height as the human head, not in a posture of dominance but of equality. The shape of the emblem and the abundant lines refer to the constituent structure of a fingerprint. The goal is to convey the message of "leaving your mark" through positive action in the world. The human being is immersed in natural elements: hills below, sun in the upper left corner, wind blowing in the middle. The colors represent a sunrise, the birth of something new.
The Centre for Biodiverse Carbon Farming ha sido desarrollado para acreditar y honrar la investigación y el trabajo del Prof. Martin Wolfe, que proporciona la inspiración en el que está fundamentado este proceso.
